Congrats! You're about to find your personal peak.
What does your peak mean? It's different for all of us. Some of us it's professional, some athletic, and others it's personal. And, that's why it's important to have a program tailored specifically for each one of us!
Are you missing out on your full potential?
Here's how you know. You're checking the box to things like:
-
feel energy dips in the afternoon
-
wake up 1-3:00 AM
-
mid-section bulge in the way of squatting down
-
bloat makes the squeeze real zipping up those pants
-
Mom farts (guys can have those, too)
-
want more muscle mass, strength, speed, power, or faster recovery from training
-
you've been told just to just eat anymore more as long as you're getting in more calories
-
everyone annoys you, especially during a particular week of the month
-
you wish you could let things roll off your shoulders more easily
-
cry or yell for no apparent reason
-
acne
-
not pooping every morning
-
rabbit turds or liquid poops
-
can't leave the house because you might need to poop
-
lost your "mo" or your drive?
-
you've been prescribed medications to take indefinitely without conversation or a plan on how to address the reason why you might need them
-
your labs are "normal" or even "good" but you don't feel that way
-
you're carrying more body fat than you'd like to be but you're dismissed when you bring it up with your provider
-
you've been told you eat less and workout more because it's a simple calories in vs calories out equation OR, the only other option is a GLP-1
-
you want to know what your actual potential is on the field, in the gym, on the slopes, in the office, during presentations, or wherever else is important to you
-
you feel like you're "fine," but used to be better and you're not sure if you're supposed to just settle for "meh" because that's what they say happens when you get older
-
you're doing all the "right things" but not getting the results you want
-
you hearing conflicting information and don't know which direction to go
Why Personalized Approaches are Different
If you've answered "yes" to any one of those questions, you're in the right spot. With a personalized approach, anyone can experience awesome energy, mental clarity, solid sleep, and ideal body composition, which allows each of us to be the best version of us possible.
I'm a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist and FDN Practitioner who helps health and performance-minded individuals find their peak through personalized plans based upon energy management, awareness, and knowledge. Whether the performance focus is athletic, professional, or personal, we determine the appropriate types of work, recovery, and right diet for each person to maximize energy. Through increased awareness of our body's signals that most of us have been conditioned to normalize or ignore, we learn from the feedback our body offers us how to create stable energy and a regulated nervous system.
We also gain knowledge about our internal current state through functional labs - blood, urine, stool, and saliva - to know what's actually going on under the hood. We dig into gut function, stress and sex hormones, heart and kidney health, liver and thyroid function, and vitamin and mineral status so we know and aren't just guessing or using poor recommendations for the masses. We're using individual results to create individual plans. Combining my training in strength and conditioning, sport and performance psychology, nutrition, and personal cheffing, I tailor the curriculum throughout virtual coaching sessions for each person's unique situation. If these ideas are resondating with you and you're ready to find your peak, let's chat!
- Katie Hardie

Instead of BLT on bread, mix it up with something different and make a summer roll out of it. Kids love making these things so let them play in the kitchen during the last summer days doing something FUNctional!
